The Hogwarts Library

Hello, my name is Madame Lightly and I am the Librarian here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Before we go any further, let's go over a few rules (see below). 

1. Absolutely No Food Or Drink In The Library
2. No Magic Unless Authorized
3. No Fighting
4. No Obscene Shenanigans Or Inappropriate Behaviors
5. No Entering The Restricted Section Without Permission
6. No Raised Voices Lest You Be Asked To Leave
7. Any Person That Returns a Book Late Or Soiled Will Be Fined
8. No Being In The Library After Hours (8 am to 8 pm)
9. No Pets Or Delivery Owls In The Library 
10. No Brooms Or Quidditch Gear In The Library
11. No Disrespecting The Resources (Books, Quills, Parchment, ect.)
12. No Standing On Furniture Of Any Kind
13. No Climbing The Book Shelves
14. No Prank Items Or Accessories In The Library
15. No Derogatory Terms Shall Be Used 

Now, I'm sure that you will not have any trouble following these rules. If you fail to do so, you will find yourself at the wrong end of a detention slip, but if you manage to stay within these guidelines, we will get along, swimmingly.

If you're having trouble finding anything, feel free to approach me for help. If you cannot find me, any of my assistants would be happy to assist you in any way they can.

If you wish to be an assistant, let me know and we'll work out the details. Please understand, however, that I can only take on so many students, so there may not be room. ((There should be an assistants book coming out in the near future -Admin))
