Heyyyy there
I know it's weird but I know that you are older than me by age and can give better advice
No pressure if you don't wanna talk
But here's the thing I have a bestfriend who is good at almost everything the things I love she nails it my hobbies and every competition she participates in she gets the first prize she is every teachers favourite the golden girl and also scores well academically even in sports I love she will be 10 times better than me
Even the guys I have a crush on will like her
I am overshadowed by her almost everyday and it's so frustrating
I don't know whether me being jealous is right or wrong but I just get that feeling even though she is my bestfriend since childhood
And next year we will be going to college 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

@pehonizzz8798 Heyyyy there 🥹❤️ First of all, thank you for trusting me enough to share something this personal with me. And no, it’s not weird at all. You can genuinely love your best friend and still feel jealous or frustrated sometimes. That doesn’t make you a bad friend or a bad person. It just means you’re human. And honestly, I understand what you mean because I’ve felt like that too. Even after working really hard and giving my best, there have been so many moments where I wondered, “Why does someone who didn’t even work that hard get what I wanted?” I’ve compared myself to others, felt like I wasn’t good enough, and I’ve even cried so many times wondering why I wasn’t worthy. So please don’t feel ashamed for having those feelings. Your best friend being good at almost everything doesn't make you less. You don't have to be better than her to have your own value. And especially with the boys you like, please don't decide beforehand that they'll choose her over you. You don't know what someone else sees in you. ❤️ And about college next year, please don't go into it already thinking that you'll be overshadowed by her. Let yourself have your own journey. Make your own friends, try things you love, participate in things you enjoy, and slowly discover what makes you special. Sometimes we spend so much time looking at someone else's achievements that we completely forget to notice our own little wins. And idiot, one more thing—being a little elder sister here, I want you to know that you can always come and talk to me, okay? 😂❤️ If you ever want to share something, no matter how silly, messy, embarrassing, or confusing it feels, just message me. Don't sit there thinking, “What will she think of me?” or “Will she judge me?” I won't. You trusted me enough to share this with me, and I really value that. So please don't be too hard on yourself, okay? You don't have to become someone else to be worthy. You already are. 🫂❤️
