I don't like the "assholes who won't change" because i really like characters like cyclops and hawkeye, the guy has a family in mcu, so can you not make them and just being peter, once friends who wants his trust as well?
The EXE's can be mj, silk, felicia, carol and she-hulk? Since they had their stories with him, the rest of women can be the ones who like him but didn't have the chance to tell him and hold grudge and jealous to peter exe's who also blame for his leaving
And the rest like fantastic four, the rest of the x-men, defenders or secret warriors can be the ones who want peter forgiveness and only can decide if peter want to forgive them or not
You can also put a little war between them to see who team deserve peter, like the x-men wants him to be a mutant in krakoa with them, the avengers wants him to be a hero with them, inhumans the same as x-men and so goes
