I'm the brand-new writer who somehow took a wrong turn after college and spent a kabillion years acting, singing, and coaching other people into taking the gigs I probably should've kept for myself. (You're welcome, by the way.)

I graduated from the School of the Arts with more Theater experience than the law allows, which basically means I can cry on cue, do Shakespeare with one eyebrow raised, and belt high notes loud enough to crack a car windshield. Writing, however, is my newest wild experiment-and yes, I am fully expecting constructive criticism, because what's life without strangers pointing out your dangling modifiers?

I like to think of this new chapter as finally realizing I've been driving with the emergency brake on. Now I'm cruising-still a little shaky, probably going in circles, but definitely with the windows down and the radio blasting.

Also, girls are cool. Especially ones like me who trip over their own sentences, laugh about it, and keep typing anyway.  ENJOY MY WORK!
