@Hauven actually I offered revenge bxb romance, I'm a predominantly bxb writer. I don't write much straight due to them being copy everytime and being found on strange sights. Turns out not many people are open to the idea of bxb stories so some are a little hesitant when stealing.

I love Jiang Cheng's mother from MO Dao Zu Shi, like I can't hate her because she knows how to put a bitch in their place. Yeah, she was bitter but can you blame her when her husband never gives security about how he feels about her? The way she treats Wei Ying is unjustified but... at the end of the day she is a bad bitch.
She will never let anyone walk all over her, she had pride, she knows her worth... and you don't dare size her up.

They should have put aside their immaturity and ego and tried to communicate with each other even if it's just for the sake of their children instead of pouring their emotions for each other on Jiang Cheng!!! I wonder how Yanli grew up as kind hearted, caring and gentle in that kind of environment!!!!! But all this shows how MDZS is more realistic. It showed a great person will also have his own flaws. Accepting and correcting them is what makes you a better person than you are before!!!!!!

@LoveWritingBl I respect her and I don't hate her but I don't like her either. I respect her as she has self respect and won't let anyone walk all over her. But I don't like her as she is the reason for Jiang Cheng's insecurities. If she didn't compare him to Wei Ying, then he won't be suffering with those insecurities. Also she always tried to take out her anger on Wei Ying because of her husband. Not only her but Jiang Fengmian is the most responsible because he failed to communicate with her and prioritized his friend's child more than his own child which fueled Madam Yu's jealousy and anger & Jiang Cheng's insecurities and craving for father's love. If not for Yanli, Jiang Cheng may not be the caring (a lot more tsundere as well) person and Wei Ying, I doubt he can survive in Loutus Pier without his shijie. So ultimately, Jiang Fengmian and Madam Yu both are good as persons but bad as a couple and parents in my opinion. I am sorry if anyone is offended by my opinion.

@LoveWritingBl The way she treated Wei Ying is an extension of her personality, She was too proudy and jealous. While dying she didn't felt guilty about her actions towards him. So i guess in a way both Husband and Wife deserve each other. They both loved someone who didn't reciprocate their feelings and love as much as they did, and that's why they were biased towards their love for their Children.
