the way jace’s voice broke before he was even able to finish talking and went directly looking for his mom’s arms??? I WAS FUCKING BAWLING 

also, emma’s and harry’s acting this first episode???? OMG. heartfuckingbreaking, delivered me with severe depression, life changing. the best of this episode was them

ngl i expected more of blood and cheese. phias acting was PHENOMENAL, but the scene in general? it was way too overhyped by the producers for what it actually was, don’t get me wrong the SOUNDS they added??? horrible, but in general the scene felt a little underproduced for what it was in the books
