          	I know it’s been a while since I last updated here — life took me on a beautiful detour. I recently had baby #2   and GOT MARRIED TO MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND, Kamauri!  (if your interested in music, he is your guy! You can check him out on soundcloud under the name KamarJ.)
          	
          	I needed time to care for myself, my family, and all the emotions that come with new beginnings. But I’m officially back! Writing has always been my passion, and I’m more excited than ever to be consistent and pour myself into storytelling again.
          	
          	You may also notice I’ve rebranded to LongHookProductions — it’s my way of honoring my father, who passed when I was a teen, by keeping his name close. The name stands for exactly what I want my stories to do: hook you in and never let go.
          	
          	My full book “Assistant of the Dead” is now available to read in its entirety! For those of you who’ve been patient or just discovering it, I hope it pulls you in. Before jumping into Book 2, I’d love to hear your feedback, comments, and thoughts on the first one — what you loved, what left you guessing, and what you’d love to see more of. In the meantime, I’m exploring new genres and currently working on a romance story while giving AOTD time to breathe and grow. Thank you so much for being here — this is just the beginning.

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing AMAZING! So sorry for the long break! It was for personal reasons and should have said something. I deeply apologize for that. I redid my Assistant Of The Dead (AOTD) and added a few things to support things that I've missed before submitting. Since I've been away I have been spending more time with family (Also expecting :)), continuing writing and will be summiting as well, but don't want to keep making mistakes. So until then, (Which will be very soon) I will update new stories soon! Stay safe and keep reading JBUFamily.
