I knew I wanted to be a writer after reading John Lennon's In His Own Write when I was fourteen. I wrote dark, anguished, lonely poetry as a teenager. In my thirties, I wrote book reviews, travel pieces, freelance interviews and features, and essays. Now, I've just finished my first book, White Lady, Black Sons: a memoir of adoption, abuse and awakening. I live in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle with my wife. I have two grown sons and three grandchildren. I'm happy to join Wattpad!
