Just saw episode one of The Rings of Power! The visuals were awesome and there were obviously occasions where the lore diverged from canon, but that's understandable because they don't have the rights to the Silm. The soundtrack fit in really well and I'm looking forward to seeing Númenor and Khazad-dûm as well as more of Theo's and Lindon's plot lines. Hopefully we'll get to see Mirkwood too.
So far, the show has pleasantly surprised me.

@Liliana-Lithothiel I agree entirely with you! I had both high hopes and no hopes at all at different points in time, but I found myself enjoying the show, although it wasn't entirely what I expected. I'm certainly looking forward to Númenor (and Tyelpe - Fëanorians forever!), and Theo's storyline intrigues me. I agree on the lore, and appreciate the small Easter eggs the show hid for those who know the lore in the prologue. The OC plot lines also turned out far better than I would have expected (so far at least).

FINALLY SUMMER BREAK! Finally done with school, though I have not realised it yet. Takes some time to sink in.
I’m going to be on holiday for the next week, so Arina’s Story will have a late update because yours truly forgot to transfer the next chapter to Wattpad and only realised this at the airport
On another note, I can finally escape the annoying hot weather and visit a beach again :D
Finally, Chapter Six! Crebain arrive, it gets cold on the journey and Aragorn learns more about himself and his daughter.
