Hi all. I’m curious to know, for those of you who follow me, if you are primarily following for TodoBaku content? 
          	
          	I’ve been involved in several events focused on DabiHawks lately and while I’m not abandoning my tdbk fics, they’ve taken a back burner to the event stuff. However, my DabiHawks content doesn’t get much traction here. 
          	
          	I appreciate those of you who read anything I write, but I am debating the pros and cons of keeping Wattpad vs just my AO3. So im also wondering how many of you are on AO3 as well? I don’t want to leave any follower of my works behind if I were to leave Wattpad, but the time taken to update here doesn’t pan out because most things just never seem to get read (much, if at all). 
          	
          	Wattpad is a hard place to get traction, maybe because I’ve missed the DabiHawks/TodoBaku fans here, or maybe just the (terrible) algorithm, and while I do write for myself (and events), it can still be a bit of a let down to see works I’ve put dozens (or hundreds) of hours into get very little readership here.
          	
          	I’m not making any decisions any time soon, and I always appreciate every single view/comment/vote. I’m just looking to gauge interaction and the ability of those who want to follow me to do so on AO3 if I were to only post there.
          	
          	I’d love to hear any input y’all have.

@DynamiteDes yooh, sorry for answering, I dunno if I'll help, but I also have that issue, I wear glasses and often read at night, so the brightness really does off me. But, but, there's like a place you can download the story in epub or pdf to read elsewhere. Like for me, there I can change themes and fonts so it's much more fun.

@LighthouseShadows lemme be genuine, the reason I like Wattpad is cause of the way it looks honestly. From coverpages to everything, but honestly, the grabby grabby stuff isn't enough so yeah, appreciate you asking.
          	  
          	  And yeah, I love everything you write, honestly speaking I really do, so I wouldn't mind hopping over where you're more comfortable, and I think you should abide to that as well. If we do like what you do, we would move with you as well I believe.
          	  
          	  So uh, yeah, what do I mean? Nothing 
          	  I just wanted to ask if there was like other chapters of checkmate on AO3 or it was just the one, cause I fell in love with that one, deep.
          	  
          	  Also, I'm a KiriBaku Tododeku shipper, but I still love the todobaku ship so much cause of you, legit.

For me personally  I am primarily here for the TodoBaku content, but am not opposed to the DabiHawks. I always throughly enjoy anything you write. Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to finish anything of yours if you were to only remain on Ao3 because of my vision disability. It’s more difficult for me to read on Ao3 because I can only read it in a web browser and it makes the story unpleasant for me if I struggle to read it so much. With Wattpad I have the app on my phone that fills my whole screen and has plenty of settings to help the font reads better and the contrast toned to what will help me see the best. That being said I fully support any decisions you make in effort to further share your stories and get more reads, and if Wattpad isn’t doing it for you I wouldn’t blame you for switching completely to Ao3. I hope whatever you decide gives you the results you’re looking for!

Hey everyone!
          
          I've just published a new one shot - You Had Me At Hello - based on some artwork on X for DabiHawks week this year. This features civilian butterfly keeper Touya and Hero Hawks. The idea hit me like a truck, and wouldn't let me go until I wrote it out lol.
          
          To be fully transparent, Wattpad is not my favored method of publishing stories any more and while I will continue to update things here, new stories and chapters will always be on AO3 first. If you'd like to follow me there, my username is LighthouseShadows. Currently, my stories there are available for users and guests, but in the not-to-distant future I will be locking that down to only users to avoid AI scrapes. Making an account is super easy, and you'll have access to so many good fics then!

Hello! Lots of updates coming your way today!!
          
          Firstly, there is a new episode for the DabiHawks Love Is Blind AU. 
          
          Secondly, I published the sickfic I did for DabiHawks week 2025 over on Twitter. Reciprocate is rated M, so please check the tags before readings. 
          
          Lastly, I published the first chapter of a short TodoBaku Amnesia fic - Long Way Home. 
          
          Feel free to let me know your thoughts on these below! I'll be working on an update for a Hero's Villain next, now that the events are out of the way.

Hey everyone! Happy May :)
          
          I have been working on some event stuff for DabiHawks week and will have a new short story coming up this week for that. I’ve got another chapter of the Love Is Blind AU to post soon as well. 
          
          I’ll have the first chapter of a new TodoBaku short story coming as well, and once that’s all posted I’ll be back to working on Hero’s Villain. 
          
          I appreciate all your patience. Sometimes, I just need to let the muse guide me, but I want to wrap up Hero’s Villain before the summers over since we’re down to the last 15 or so chapters!
