Y’all know I don’t really get political on my accounts and I’m still not because I do want everyone (myself included) to have a space they can go to that isn’t touched by the darkness of today’s world, however…
          
          I do want to remind everyone that, although it’s okay to want a little break from reality, you still need to do your absolute best to stay informed. I know I don’t really talk about my views or beliefs (except my belief in Jesus Christ) on everything going on and I advocate for my pages to be a safe space, but I do keep tabs on world events. 
          
          Remember to always fact check anything you see on social media and to do your own research! If not, you might fall victim to some of the fear mongering fools that are all over social media.
          
          [ not trying to force my beliefs when I say this next line, but highly recommend seeking a relationship with Jesus so you can feel a bit more at peace and feel His love during this hard time ]
          
          Have faith that God will pull YOU through. The waves might be knocking you down, but He will never leave you to drown.
          
          Stay informed and, though it’s a scary time, try not to let the fear consume you <3

U P D A T E : A bit of everything
          
          I’m making this announcement because I’m sure some of you have seen that I posted an actual edit on TikTok earlier today, so I thought I should just give an update across my main socials.
          
          For starters, my sick family member is unable to have surgery any time soon due to his enflamed pancreas. He’s okay, but he’ll have to start chemo and we won’t know about a surgery until September. While we’re still not 100%, my family and I are trying to get back to normal where we can, so I’m attempting to do that by getting back into my writing/editing. That being said, I’ll try my best to be more interactive with my mutuals’ posts.
          
          As for my writing, I have decided to try and write an original novel. This doesn’t mean that I’ve abandoned any of my fanfictions, in fact, I’m actually working on that as well as “Hunter Reborn” because I’m a little stuck on both.
          
          Life is still a little rocky, so I don’t know when I’ll drop off the face of the earth again, but I’m working on trying to get back to normal, so please be patient with me <3
          
          
          

I will be taking another social media hiatus, only this time I won’t really be active at all. Without getting into too much detail (but also giving enough for prayer), a close family member of mine recently found out that they have a mass in their body. Me being me, my mind jumped to the worst case scenario, but we won’t know more for a few days after the doctors perform a biopsy.
          
          I am asking—begging—for you all to pray that this mass isn’t malignant. Thank you for your understanding <3

“Hunter Reborn” Publishing Status Update:
          
          I'm going to give my aesthetics a once-over and make sure I like them before I consider them finished (but lowkey they are; I'm just a perfectionist and like to quadruple check). Once I check them out, I'll start to transfer my book to Wattpad and make sure it's formatted correctly before finally publishing!
          
          I'm still waiting on my friend to beta read the epilogue and I've got a shift today, so I'll try to work on it when I get home.
          
          Thank you all so much for your patience. I really hope you guys enjoy the book when it comes out because y'all have definitely waited long enough lol.

BIG NEWS:
          
          I’m happy to announce that “Hunter Reborn” Act I is officially finished! Once I see if my friend will give the epilogue a beta read, I’ll work on actually transferring it to Wattpad and getting it published. Other than that, I just have to make some adjustments to my aesthetics then it’ll be ready to go.
          
          I do have a question for those who’ve been waiting for this book for a long time; do you want me to go ahead and publish all of Act I or post two chapters a week for dramatic effect? I’m down with either or, but it’s a relatively short portion of the book so…I’ll leave that up to you guys (and if no one replies, I’ll ask my friends and mutuals hehe)
          
          Be on the look out for the published product within the next few days!

Howdy, howdy, everybody. Here’s a little update on the mini-hiatus:
          
          As predicted, everything is finally starting to settle down. While there’s still a little bit going on, I can say the hiatus should come to an end soon (assuming all continues to go well). 
          
          I might work on “Hunter Reborn” today or tomorrow depending on what the plans for today are. I’m happy to announce that Chapter 8 is edited, so that leaves us with two chapters and an epilogue for Act I. As for my TikTok, I’ll change how many times I check my account. I’ll now be checking my account twice a day instead of once (until everything is back to normal). I might also make some simple edits if I stumble across any good audios. I’ll also try to post my most recent edit to Instagram one day this week.
          
          And, listen, I don’t typically get religious on my Wattpad (probably should), but I’ve gotta tell y’all that God is real and prayer works! If it won’t for Him and the doctors who are caring for my loved one, this hiatus would be going on indefinitely. Just wanted to take a second today and praise Him!
