About Me:
Hi, I'm Michael, a 36-year-old history teacher, husband, proud dad of three, and lifelong fan of anime, manga, and light novels. Shonen Jump style adventures shaped my imagination growing up, and now I'm creating stories my own kids can one day read and be inspired by.
When I'm not writing or teaching, you'll probably find me on a basketball court, in the gym, or at Disney with my wife and kids. We're a big Disney family and often travel to Georgia to see relatives. I'm outgoing, extroverted, and I thrive on sharing ideas and connecting with people.

Why I Write:
Stories have always been my escape and my way to make sense of the world. I want to give readers the same sense of wonder that classic anime and manga gave me: friendship, courage, sacrifice, and hope in the face of impossible odds.

The Creation of The Island of No Return:
This story started as scribbles in my lesson plan margins and late night notes on my phone, just a spark about an island fortress, a prophecy, and a boy with a light powerful enough to terrify empires. Over years, those fragments grew into a complete narrative. I rewrote whole arcs, added depth to the characters, and polished every chapter until it felt alive. Volume One, Echoes of the Forgotten Island, is my first fully realized project. It's the kind of story I wished existed when I was a teen, a blend of action, emotion, and mystery that keeps you turning pages.
