Leroy Skeete, in March 2012 was a guest of the Prime Minister at: Number 10 Downing Street. In that same year he gave a speech in, 'The House Of Commons'. He has also given speeches in the UK on behalf of various charities relating to the criminal justice system about his journey. This is a far cry from where his life began. A former crack addict with a history of violence who has spent 30 years of his life in and out of institutions, including his last prison sentence, where he served a full 11 years - finally being released in 2009. Today he continues to share his story of triumph over adversity and is currently writing his autobiography, which he hopes will inspire others.
