I'm a die-hard Percy Jackson fan who lives for the chaos, sarcasm, and heart of Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus series. Percy Jackson-our favorite son of Poseidon, wielder of Riptide, and loyal "Seaweed Brain" to Annabeth-is my ultimate hero. His epic quests, from stealing Zeus's lightning bolt to battling Titans and giants, keep me glued to the pages. I've read every book, from The Lightning Thief to The Blood of Olympus, at least ten times, and I'm always diving into fanfics that capture Percy's vibe-his humor, his loyalty, and his knack for defying gods.

I recently finished Persea: Heroine of Tides, a killer fanfic that reimagines Percy's journey with a twist, giving him insane water and death domains in a battle against Gaea. The way it builds on Percy's canon powers-controlling the sea, earthquakes, and even a bit of underworld mojo (The House of Hades)-had me hooked, especially the final fight at Camp Half-Blood.
