Hi, 

I'm Lela Wilde. A passionate fiction writer from down-unda (Australia). I began writing as a young teen upon finding Wattpad (hello Harry Styles fanfics) and feeling as if something was missing in what I read. At the time, I knew nothing about writing except that I needed more drama, more passion, more action, and I began writing common tropes in ways that entertained me. AKA I began writing so that I could read it myself.

Since then, I have had a beautiful relationship with writing and reading. It reconnects me to my passion, my essence, my flow. And most of all, it helps me to heal and find joy and connection again, especially through challenging times. All of what I write has elements of personal experience, from my characters, which come alive in every sentence I write, to the themes that I explore. I've been through some crazy stuff in life, and it makes for some great fiction!

Truth truly can be stranger than fiction, and that's why writing and reading can be so healing. Even if it's just fantasising about a sexy, hot man taking you away from your stresses for a while. Or reading a thriller that makes you sweat as you grip your phone, sending zings through your skin and reminding you that you are alive. 

This is my channel for my often unedited and experimental stories, which are super fun to explore, so you get the very first taste of it right here on Wattpad before anyone else sees it.
