It seems that you've deleted all the messages I left, but there's just one more thing I wasn't to say in response to your excuses:
I’m not going to thank you for taking my fics off your profile because they should have never been there in the first place. And while you may have been upfront about other works you’d reposted and have credited the appropriate authors, the fact that you had all three works in my series and had changed the names for two out of the three, leads me to believe that the intent you had behind stealing and reposting my fics was to pass it off as your own.
Also, on the topic of you “responding to a few comments when asked for updates” sure you didn’t outright claim that they were your works, but when people comment implying that the work was yours, you also never bothered to correct their assumption and give proper credit. You knew exactly what you were doing in leaving our fics the only ones uncredited on your profile and how tricking people by not properly informing them would ultimately benefit no one but yourself in the long run.
And really? You expect me to believe that in all the years that you had ALL THREE OF MY FICS up on your profile, it had never ONCE occurred to you to give proper credit? You had plenty of time to credit me or even my co-author in that time… but you didn’t, which means you were never going to do so in the first place.
I did not spend several years writing through good days and bad days, stubbornly honing my craft to get to where I’m at today, just to have you steal my hard work and then have the audacity to give me half-assed excuses as to why you did it and why you shouldn’t be at fault. The fact that you did it at all is frankly appalling and I’m sure that you would have continued as you were (falsely passing off my work as your own, don’t bs me) if one of my kind commenters had not brought this to my attention.
