I feel like for me, if I won't write on it again and it's not complete, I don't want someone to read like a few chapters and then see it's disconnected. I hate it when I read a book that I love, but at the last chapter, I see it's date was 5 years ago. I also felt like my whole plot line was cringy as I wrote it like two years ago and the ideas were so happy and not realistic. I have honestly no idea how the algorithim works. I think it goes by week or it's delayed because sometimes my book was ranked really highly even though it got 0 viewers. Honestly for me, I feel like writing is better than reading because it's just fun to twist a story. I used to love reading, but sometimes, when you read so much from a fandom, it becomes hard to keep on reading books. The issue when I write is honestly my vocabulary and sentence structure are bad. Honestly, it's partially due to learning another language at school, but I start questioning whether I've made a correct sentence. I feel like I understand emotions(sometimes a little too much and it becomes a little repetitive). Honestly, it would be hard for me to write a book with a character that kills a lot unless it's like Harry Potter. Like if I'm evil, I can kill other people pretty easily, but it's hard for me to kill me who are friends of the protagonist. I feel like your story it makes sense since Univ kind of feels like the cold-blooded, heartless and emotionless killer

@xitcookie7 The only thing I unpublish is work I don't feel like my audience needs or cares for. The failure book that I took down will most likely never go back up unless I have another update that relates to my main goal with it. I think the more frequent you update and the overall interest from the other chapter will push a book higher in the rankings, almost like YouTube in a way. I think most sites have an algorithm now of days so you have to figure it out before you do anything successful on it. I've always preferred reading a really good book over writing because you know what's gonna happen, and I think having something controversial Is good for the intrigue of the book such as when a character dies, you feel that and start caring for the book more. When I write, I suffer from not being able to feel empathy, so whenever im writing I can't feel bad for characters so I do really draw topics on accident, and my brain is full of random dark topics allowing for more interesting books to be honest. The Univs story is one example of that as the first three chapters have already picked up a death count of around seven, so you stay intrigued.

@Univfy Oh okay. I just changed my profile mainly because I felt it would brighten it up and I finally got a cover for the book(even though I didn't make it).

10 unique viewers in a single day! That's amazing! Thank you guys so much!

Yeah, I guess. I think it's just fun and good to help other people. I volunteer for a math program for community service and math is my favorite subject, which makes it really nice to just teach people it

You know it's sorta funny how we began chatting with you acting as a sort of mentor for my writing and you still seemly do that as showed my this reply

I used to get that too(I still get 1 to 0 after a few days), but the more chapter you add, the more people view your story! I would just try to stay patient.
