Envious is what I became of her. From the instant I first glanced her angelic face I knew she was already too good to be true. Her personality had glowed like a firefly in the breezy airs of a winters midnight. Bright, bold and beyond any noble words was to describe her. I wanted her. I needed her. Whether it was the company of her blissful laughter caused by the man besides me or the soft breathing she made in a silent classroom. Her presence made me feel complete. As if a void had been filled. Yet it cracked a little more every time she turned her back. I yearned to be around her even if it was in the shadow of her greatness. She had no limelight. She had an intoxicating smile and a radiant face. Attention was never her aim I'm publicity. Only to be comfortable and surrounded by friends were her only desire. Despite my anxiety I could connect with her. I connected with her like I hadn't with anyone before her. Her open mind was mounted with a welcome mat. Her eyes was the locked entrance of her darkest visions. Her heart was the key to unlock this. Though one would give life to see what this girl had, I knew those memories were not mine to ponder. Her stories aren't mine to read unless read to. Her stability is what mattered most rather than the many coins of her worth. She was misunderstood, never a lost cause. She was a diamond to many but treated as a common pebble. I believed I could never do this to such a precious gem.
