Be More Chill closed four days ago.
          
          It was truly my favorite show in existence ever. I’m pretty bummed, to say the least. Wish I could have seen it, but there’s always bootlegs, I guess. I don’t know anymore. 
          
          But thanks, Be More Chill, for showing me how to more than survive. 

Dan! We’re really proud of you for being comfortable enough to share this with us. You don’t owe us an answer or an explanation, no matter how many times we ask. 
          
          I feel like in some ways, I can relate to you. I’ve always felt like I needed a label, and everytime I find a label, it might not fit in a few weeks. Also, everytime I change labels, it feels more and more like I’m pretending. This is part of the reason I don’t feel comfortable telling my family (the other part being THEYAREVHOMOPHOBIC). 
          
          I really like how you talk about the pressures of needing to come out. I also like how you highlight the dangers and risk of coming out, which I will take into consideration when I grow up, become more financially independent, and tell my family. 
          
          In short, thank you, Dan. Thank you for showing me that it’s okay to not have an easy-to-sort-label. Thank you for showing me that it’s okay to be a shapeless blob. And most importantly, thank you for showing me the community of other shapeless blobs.
