Hiiiiiiiii I’m back! I just wanted to check in. It’s been some time since I’ve written but I’ve been feeling inspired lately. If you’ve been following me since I was in high school and writing stories like “Where The Magnolias Grow” you probably know that at some point I went to law school. Since then because I read things (not for my enjoyment) I haven’t been active on Wattpad as much as I was before. But now I’ve graduated, I’m an entertainment lawyer and I miss writing. It was an outlet for me. Many of the stories I’ve shared have been from my own story and pulled from the lives of those around me and now I want to explore that part of me (now as a 28 year old rather than as an 18 year old). Many of the stories that you see on here I’ve been editing for years and some I’ve been working on without posting on Wattpad. SO! Starting next month I’ll be more active and I’ll post the fully edited novels that I’ve complete. Please tell your friends and help be build my career as an author which to be honest has been a huge dream of mine. Not just being an attorney but being an attorney who writes. Thank you to those who have been ready my stuff for years and to those who have just join and want me to complete those stories that I have on here. I’m someone who always had something to share. You’ve kept me motivated when I wasn’t even motivated.  I am going to make a instagram for myself as an author and maybe even start a YouTube, so stay tuned. There is much to come.

Hey sorry to bother you but I was wondering when you have time can you read my book called Night & Day 

So I saw that bullshït comment made about the 
          Patois and broken english camilla was speaking in "until her". That person was an ass. Its easy to understand im 1/2 Jamaican recommended it to my  white friend and she even understood it. Anyone who could read context clues would understand. Dont change your work. Thank you for your representation.
          

So, I just want you guys to know this now. I appreciate each one of you for both following me and leaving comments, because I do read them. If their critiques that make sense I tend to keep not of them when I got to edit them. In my books I use colloquial speech (everyday speech) which basically means I write and I hear it being spoken and that makes them difficult to read for some at times. I love critiques as long as they are going to add to the betterment of the book but not change the authenticity of it. I know Patois(Jamaican Dialect/language), and I’m learning Spanish, French and Turkish. Showing the realness and believability in a character through their language with another is important to me and if you don’t like it you don’t have to read it. I know I won’t please everyone. But when you guys add it to your reading lists let those who read it and follow you understand that as well. ❤️ thank you again for your follows, reads and reading list adds. I’m still editing After Him but I am also thinking of deleting the open water series but reposting it as one book since I believe it would work better that way. I’ve hit an extended writers block with the third novel lol but I absolutely love how I wrote the second one so I’m thinking about just making it one book or maybe two.

Guys! I am going to post the new first ten chapters of Where the Magnolias Grow on here today! I want completely honest feedback. I'm sending it out in queries to different agents so I hope you love this completed version. Its not going to follow with the version of Where It All Started currently on Wattpad so don't try to think about it in terms of that one. I'm working on editing WIAS and giving you all that version in the next year or so. There isn't a time line so far cause I want that to be in pristine condition. I will say that this series will have spin offs cause I want to explore relationship with the new character in it!

However, in the meantime, I have a short story that I plan on expanding that I submitted for my advanced creative writing class that I'd like for y'all to read. The ending isn't what I wanted it to be and I think I'll edit it for y'all so you have the ending I wanted. So look out for that!

So, because I haven't had the time with all I've been doing, I'm putting 'After Him' on hold. Between study abroad, coming home and readjusting then taking 18 credits and holding a position in my sorority, I have to put it on hold. It won't be long. I'll be back. I also have to refocus my attention on it because I feel like when I first started I knew exactly where it was going. Now, I'm not sure so I think I'm going to replan and edit what's there and then continue writing 'After Him'. I'd say that right now my expected timeline to be back with it edited and a new chapter update would be around mid May, like the 25th. I'm so sorry y'all. I'll try to come back quicker but  right now that's what it looks like it will be.
