Kyrie

Hello!

I'm Kyrie. I'm a 26 year old who lives in the middle of nowhere Idaho, USA. I'm a mother to three, wife to one, and try to both write, and save the world in my spare time. 

I love reading, writing, and editing, and am completely OCD about spelling, punctuation and grammar. 
That being said, I AM an EDITOR! If I am leaving a million comments on someone's story, I have been asked to do so, and I am working as their editor. 
That does not mean I dislike the story. 
As long as a story is legible, and it's obvious you know your ass from your elbow, and I understand what you've written without hiring a translator, I WILL read ANYTHING!
I'm fascinated by anything with words, accents and dialects. But they have to follow enough of the rules of language for me to understand them. 
If I don't like it, I won't read it. Simple as that. 

I've been writing seriously since I was 13- but don't normally write linearly, so I rarely post stories since it's hard for readers to follow when I skip from Chapter 1 to Chapter 10 suddenly. 

I love anything about dragons, steampunk, dark fairy tales, Alice in Wonderland, paranormal- ghosts, mediums, spirits, and complete reimaginings of traditional tropes. High fantasy is one of my great loves- think Tolkien. I love the classics- A Tale of Two Cities being my favourite, and Anne Rice's horror novels. I also love really well written science fiction- if the line between steampunk, science fiction and a little of the paranormal happens to blur, I'm there. 
My favourite fantasy romance author is Grace Draven- her writing is inspired. I absolutely love her work. 

I'm currently not working as an editor as I've just had a baby, and I'm trying to manage 3 young children, as well as recover from a broken ankle. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time to do anything else just yet. :-)
