Happy Friday everyone! New chapter is out!

I decided to do camp NaNoWriMo for July, and since I'm doing it, might as well go for it, right? My goal for the month is 50k written. :D Hopefully I'll be able to reach that goal, or get somewhat close to it. Guess we'll see, lol!

Yeesh, what's with all the XNovel and Rnovel and Dreame and etc spam happening on this site? Reported a few, but there's so many! O_o Been muting at least 2 or 3 spammers a day. If anyone gets messaged by them, please just ignore them. Nothing about them looks legit, and I'm sure there are better places for you to share your story.

I realized I forgot to make an announcement, lol! Well, here it is - another update is out for VEILED HEALER!

I've been getting into making my own kombucha, and I'm learning that a very warm house (no AC ftw, whoo!!) speeds up the fermentation a lot! This morning I cracked open a fresh 2-day fermented bottle of grapefruit ginger kombucha and uh, well - it was like a geyser of fizz and fruit pieces. Made a huge mess and now I have a kitchen to clean! But the stuff that actually remained in the bottle was super tasty. :D

Just a small heads up -- I'm changing the series name of Eliona's Gate to Eliona's War. There are a couple of well-known litrpg series on the market already with a very similar name, so I decided to go for a something a little more unique. The book covers will still say Eliona's Gate on them, lol, but I'm gonna keep them since the whole set is super pretty. :D

Also, I removed Hesitant Healer from Royal Road. I'm in the process of rewriting it, and decided to keep the only published copy of the original draft to Wattpad.

That's all, lol. Hope you are having a wonderful day/evening/night!

It's Friday, it's Friday!! My favorite day of the workweek~

Another update out, another challenge finished for Write to Rank, and I'm still writing away like a loon. For today's update, a new character is introduced in Veiled Healer. It was kind of a random moment, meaning this character was not planned, but after about four seconds of writing him in, it was like, this character wormed his way into my author heart and he's now a permanent part of the story. Hope you enjoy <3

@KurokageJS Ooooo. I am super excited to see what's in store! =D

Hey all,

Happy Friday! Just posted an update for VEILED HEALER. Now that the garden’s in, I have a little more time now to get back to writing. Hope to get back on track with writing one chapter a week, plus finish that almost-due entry for the Write to Rank action challenge, and finally get around to completing that long overdue Raven’s Will chapter. *cough*

Now on to a random note, lol – one of my biggest inspirations for writing is music. I generally prefer emotional instrumental pieces without lyrics (or understandable lyrics) to distract from the mood of the song. That said, I listen such a vast array of music – from Mongolian folk rock (The Hu, anyone?) to bluegrass gospel to anime/movie/game soundtracks (Shiro Sagisu and Yuki Kajiura are geniuses!) to classical symphonies. Anyway, just wanted to mention the amazing music written by Dmitri Shostakovich. You might be familiar with him if you listen to classical music, but if not, I definitely recommend giving him a try. His compositions are often dark and emotional and chaotic, and considering his background, it’s no wonder why!

@Dapperfield orchestras are always fun to watch on youtube xD

I prefer orchestral music

@Niyeban His waltz no 2 is very lovely. And his symphony no 5 is great, and the 4th symphony is so discordant and chaotic it's amazing lol. Stalin heard triumph for the Soviet nation in his music, while the common people heard the very oposite. It's very interesting!
