Hi, I have a theorie about Black Swan: I think they’re not who they say they are. They’re not good, they’re villains. I think that they are just a plan, a scheme to trick Sophie into believing she’s helping the good side, but she’s actually helping the villains. Maybe they’re tied closer to the Neverseen than everybody thinks. It’s all a show. They probably created her to pose as a strong elvin weapon against the council, for control over the Lost Cities. Sophie might’ve been manipulated from day one. So they created her not to fight evil, but to unleash a new form of power.
          Why I think this:
Mr. Forkle is way too controlling and manipulative.
Sophie was monitored from day one. She didn’t even get asked to join the Black Swan. They started sending her messages and she had to look into it. That’s already classic villain behavior.
They have plans that resemble the Neverseen too much.
If the Black Swan did turn out to be evil (probably totally unlikely!) then Sophie would have to turn against them and fight for herself. She would be alone, only with her friends. I think that would be a major plot twist.
Maybe this is a ridiculous theorie and I missed something (cause I haven’t reread the books in a long time!) but I’d love for you and Troy to look into it further.
