Kino McFarland is a writer with great imagination. Her passion for entertainment has brought her from jumping on broken glass and escaping straitjackets to writing for films and video games. She uses her experience with vaudeville and sideshow to create entertaining work for people of all walks of life. Her credits include Living Dead Magazine, the websites Horse Junkies United and This Dish is Vegetarian, the short film Hangry, the text-based game Behind the Kürten, and more.

While in the Creative Writing for Entertainment program at Full Sail University, Kino received the Course Director’s Award for Children’s Entertainment. In addition to her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Full Sail, she has also received her Associate of Applied Science in Electronic Media Technology and a Professional Certificate in Animation from The University of Cincinnati. Kino has a very active web presence and can be found on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. When she’s not writing, filmmaking, or touring the country with circuses, she can be found in a barn mucking out stalls. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty.
