My name is Kierralynn, but most people just call me Kierra. I'm a writer who fell in love with storytelling through poetry first-words were how I made sense of everything around me. From there, I started writing short stories and eventually full books that reflect real-life love, family, and all the chaos that comes with them.

My writing is deeply rooted in emotion-Black love, healing, vulnerability, and the everyday beauty and struggle of womanhood. I don't write perfect characters. I write people who mess up, who grow, who fall in love in messy, sometimes hilarious, often heartwarming ways.

My stories often center around holidays (especially Christmas-my favorite!), community ties, and second chances. I also write self-care journals and poetry that speak to those quiet, hidden parts of us we're sometimes scared to share.
