I'm sorry I've been away from Wattpad for so long! I was writing a novel, and it's done, so I'm back — working on a new chapter of Deva's story now, and I'll have it posted for you soon. ♥

@Linneya Thank you! I absolutely have to finish writing my current book, but then I will get back to Deva. I have not given up on her. ♥

I have a start on a book...intended to be the first of 2. I could use a few people to bounce ideas off of.

Both main characters in the first book seem 'content' enough with their lives and unwilling to risk change and emotional entanglement. Both resist the truth that everyone's soul hungers for three things.

To be truly Seen... known beneath the mask
To be Accepted... as who they truly are
To be valued... Chosen above all others.

Both shy away from even the idea of love.

He thinks that a woman worth having would run from who he truly is...but she is a prisoner. Can he manipulate her mind and heart?

She is a witness he intended to kill. Can she give him reasons to keep her alive...for how long?

By the end of the story, both are revealed to one another and changed by their relationship... but can she (or anyone) love him... and at what cost?

I know how I intend to end the story, but there is a lot to work out. Mostly, I want to work on characters right now. Backstory, psychology, who they are and how they change.

          PM if you are interested.

You guys, I'm writing the absolutely grossest metaphor right now. I can't even believe myself. You'll see on Friday... ♥

KellaCampbell

@KatieCross4 Sorry, not *that* kind of gross. Laughing at this, though. Maybe I do need to work some boogers into a future chapter...

@KellaCampbell— can't wait! I hope it includes boogers!

So... I posted a chapter of A Husband For Deva on the weekend, but I didn't have a chance to make a quote-picture for it until now, so that's why it says it was updated today. If you haven't yet read it, you can check it out here: https://www.wattpad.com/386578304-a-husband-for-deva-candles-and-sweets ... and if you already read it, you can pop by and see the yummy picture of nougat pieces I've used as the background for my favourite line from the chapter. ♥

I hope everyone's having a great weekend! It's Friday night (or Saturday morning), and I've got a new chapter of A Husband For Deva up. Pretty clothes, a bit of romance, and... yeah, the naked dancing thing, I wasn't exactly planning to write that. It just kind of happened in my brain and... you know how it is.
