Yay, you're here too! You should have when you started! But yay!

And I did have something intelligent to say about your latest blog, I just haven't yet, because, um, still half-formed thought - but I do think it's bad how everyone expects HEA and gets upset if its missing. Although I would probably say that... :)

No. This was helpful. :-)

@KdWest Sorry! I just suddenly realized I don't get an email if you reply to my comment on your page (as opposed to on mine, if that makes sense) so I need to come back and look)... and you did, and I'm sorry, I'm very rude, just shout if I do things like this.

So I think we kind of talked about this, but yes, completely, to Smashwords meets fanfic.net, from what I've briefly seen of fanfic.net, but with kind of a writers group thrown in, if you want that, and social networking, if you want that too.

Um, finding your way around, I have no fecking idea. And I'm sorry, I know that's not much help. I kind of just put up stories and really only talk a few people I know - ta dah - which makes me way less on the socialy side of it than some.

Um. This was a totally unhelpful reply, really... :)

Hey, yeah! I'm stalking you! (Well, actually, sort of. Only mostly just checking out what you were doing to see if it's fun and good.)

This feels... I'm trying to get my brain around what this community is. It feels like a kind of mashup of Fanfiction.net and Smashwords. Is that about right? I'm a little overwhelmed actually. How does one find one's way around this place???

Intelligent response not required, but yeah -- I agree. And I think that its somewhat the responsibility of the writer to push the readers outside of their comfort zones. Just a little. I mean, not too much, because that would be traumatic, and all of that.
