tldr; I'm coming back!

So I'm just writing here to kind of fill the void on what's happening with my story and the series around it.

I've been deeply grateful and humbled by the readership I managed to cultivate around Silvana: Queen of the Witches, even with the fact that I've discovered Wattpad is a beyond frustrating medium for any author cloying to get seen. That said, you may have noticed that I'm only updating about once a week and my activity on Wattpad has sort of slowed down.

I've been spending the last month working on Books 2 and 3 of the Grimoire Nights series and trying to decide what to do with the first one. I've been uncertain whether I should polish it up and get it on Amazon or if I should continue until all three books are finished and put them out in rapid release.

The decision I'm actually veering towards is to continue to upload the second and third books onto Wattpad as I write and edit them for the next 4-ish months or so. Then when there's a good body of work finished I will take them down, edit them into something I'm really proud of, and officially self-publish them.

The main sense of trepidation I feel about these books isn't so much plot or character, but tone and what genre they're ultimately shaping into. I've really appreciated hearing the impressions from readers to get a sense of what direction to steer these into for the 'official' release down the road.

So thanks so much for reading anything I've put out! Expect me to finish up Book I of Grimoire Nights and set us into Book II shortly!

It's a huge day for Silvana: Queen of the Witches!

Firstly, I've just updated the book, and You-Know-Who just showed up. This is a perfect time to catch up on the story if you last read it a few weeks ago!

Secondly I have uploaded the beginning of a new story onto Wattpad, a PREQUEL to Grimoire Nights! I've begun writing an atmospheric folk horror novella that tells the story of Allhallows, the town mentioned in the prologue of Silvana: Queen of the Witches. If that interest you you can read the first chapter here on Wattpad and then sign up for my mailing list off my website to read the next two: http://www.grimoirenights.com/free-prequel/

Thirdly, if you didn't notice by the last announcement, I've just put up my own author website! http://www.grimoirenights.com/ It's sparse at the moment, but you can get links to all my various social media and the information I'll be putting up about myself, my writing, and the series I'll be filling in over the next few weeks.

Thanks so much for all the read and comments the book has gotten! I still owe some people read for reads and I'm continuing to get to them alongside everything else I have to get done. Hope everybody's been having a good beginning of the year!

Season's Bleetings! Hope you folks had a spledid Saturnalia, supernal Solstice, yippity Yule, or whatever other holiday you're celebrating for the end of the year. I'm announcing now that we've arrived at The Grand Conjuration, the midway point of Silvana: Queen of the Witches. These next few chapters I'm uploading are the turning point where things will start to get a little more interesting.

I'm thrilled with the reception that the book has gotten in the last month since I started putting it up on Wattpad! I'm so happy so many people have enjoyed the book even in its rough current form!

The first book is almost finished, I'm also now in the process of editing up a prequel novelette that tells more of the story of Allhallows, the old town mentioned in the prologue, since so many people were really intrigued by that bit of lore. So look forward to that being up in a few weeks!

You are so freaking fantastic! Thanks for all the amazing feedback <3. I'm sorry I was replying at odd times today, I was trying to comment when I had a second, but every bit of it was appreciated <3.

@AEMcAuley Ahhh! You're so welcome! I'll be coming back to make a second pass on your work soon, I just stopped midway through your anthology since I was doozing off. Your prose is really polished and professional and every one of those vignettes I was reading would have made a great hook for a full story. I'll check out your full novel at some point soon too!
