The year is 18(37 to 101). Lurking somewhere in the heart of the soot-blackened terraces and cobbled streets of London is KFRkit_katKFR. She stalks the gaslit alleyways of the rookeries by night and sits curled up with a complicated book by day- that is, when she's not inventing fantastical steampunk machines made of interlocking cogs and gears. Actually, this is all lies. LIES! I'm a modern-day not-quite-Londoner who's COMPLETELY OBSESSED with the Victorian era. I frequently research it for my books (I know an unhealthy amount about Jack the Ripper :D ), although I never fangirl about it in front of my friends, as I think they would find that difficult to put up with.

Instead, I fangirl about books (Er...list too long for 2000 characters! See my FF) and AWESOME ALTERNATIVE BANDS. My favourite band is MCR and my three 2nd favourites (that's allowed, right?) are Bastille, MsMr and BMTH. The rest, in BEAUTIFULLY ALPHABETICAL order, are:

Countless plots dance in my head, but I write few down as my creativity is crushed daily under mounds of schoolwork. Anything I plan inevitably includes complex characters, humour/darkness/both, a (usually 1800s) London setting, mystery and sometimes a fantasy world or dystopia.

My favourite detectives? Poirot, Holmes and Edogawa Conan.
