I use poetry to put my emotions somewhere. This is essentially a diary that I'm keeping to remind myself of the things that are important to me. Writing has recently become an outlet for me and I feel like if I just keep it to myself, that's just as bad a bottling up my emotions. Nobody has to read my work, but having it out there just makes me feel better.
