Last time my grandma (on my mom's side, we don't see her very much) stayed with us, my parents went on a little vacation, so we were stuck with her for a week, and she saw some kind of article about how Disney is going to address people using nonbinary terms (yay!!) And then she came up to my room and was all like "that's ridiculous! That's only like- 2% of the population!" And I corrected her saying like, y'know, that there are a lot more nonbinary people and then she says "I understand doing it for pride week and all-" (I don't remember what the rest of her sentence was lol) and I was just like "umm.. pride is a whole month." And nowww she's suspiciousss of meee
And rightfully so, I'm pan and I have.. hidden pride flags like all over my room but eh whatever (sorry idrk why I felt like telling that story ;-;)
