It's been a long while my friends. I'm sorry. Life & death have gotten the better of me. As some of you may know, I was a co-caretaker for my father. Sadly, he passed away 5/16/22 after what was a quick illness even though he was bedbound for a year. Literally...almost a year to the day he came home from the nursing home worse off than he went in. *grrr*  The day I had to have him rushed to the hospital was 364 days since he was last outside. It has been the hardest thing...dealing with my own grief and watching my mother go through hers. I will write more soon to Paul & Josie's story but what's coming up in the story is a bit triggering for me so please bear with me as I work through my grief and it translates to Josie's story. ❤️

I'm sorry it's been awhile since I posted a new chapter. Writer's block and life has been happening.  I've been writing the next chapter this whole time and hope to post in the next day or so. It's hard as a writer when you know what's coming because the build up to it is so sweet... you'll understand soon enough...and for those of you I've told...you know. :)  Thanks for following for me.
