12 chapters of editing left for "Silence"
Guys, I'm actually so excited for this one. Turns out that taking a break between writing and editing was a genius idea for me. I came back with so many new ideas! Every chapter so far is at least 2,500 words, (beforehand, my word count goal was about 2,000 per chapter, so for me, this is a step up! ^w^)
I love being excited about stories! Also, the sun has returned to my home, so that's super helpful, too!
Because I'm in a good not-depressed mood today, I'm gonna share some random fun facts on the book!
1. The story will have two different narrators. One of these narrators will be a well-known character from Super Paper Mario, and the other is a little bean boi named Shylo.
2. Shylo's least favorite color is forest green. It freaks him out
3. In this story, Polterpup is a girl, because why not?
4. This story will introduce a bunch of OCs that have been in the drafts of some other stories but never made it into the final productions. One of the characters, Juday, was going to be in "My Multicolored Cloak" as one of the brothers. Another character, Rylah, was originally featured in "The Art of Forgiveness" as a friend of Marc's. Lastly, Llyr was originally going to be in "Attend the Tale." His character was supposed to be a much nicer version of The Beadle, but he ended up being cut altogether. His role merged with Merlon's.
Anyway, those are my random fun facts that probably don't make sense at all. As soon as these 12 chapters are done being edited, I'm going to switch to posting "Flipped" every day. A lot of the chapters in Flipped are kinda messily written, but that's because Flipped is mostly a "for fun" story, and I wrote/edited it super quickly. For future stories, though it takes longer, I think I'm going to switch to taking breaks between the writing and editing phases. It's given me so many ideas for improving the story, and the final draft is turning out so much better.
Anyway, ciao for now!
