Hi, I'm Jia Tiu, a fanfiction writer who is fascinated by the parts of the Wizarding World that exist beyond Harry Potter and his circle.

I love writing stories that ask what life looks like for everyone else-the students whose biggest concern is passing Potions, the Ministry employees building careers, the old families protecting their influence, the healers at St Mungo's, the shopkeepers in Diagon Alley, and the witches and wizards whose lives never intersect with the Boy Who Lived.

As an author, I'm drawn to world-building, politics, family legacies, social class, power, ambition, loyalty, and morally complicated choices. I enjoy taking small details from canon and asking bigger questions about them. How does Wizarding society actually function? What happens after Hogwarts? How much influence do certain families have? What does an ordinary magical life look like when no Dark Lord is standing at the center of the story?

My stories may feature original characters, minor canon characters, different Hogwarts generations, Ministry workers, magical families, professors, journalists, healers, and anyone else who might have an interesting story to tell.

I also love alternate possibilities and butterfly effects. A single friendship, rivalry, marriage, promotion, mistake, or decision can completely change someone's life, and I enjoy following those consequences wherever they lead.

I tend to write character-driven stories with political intrigue, slow-building conflicts, complicated relationships, hidden motives, and people who are neither completely good nor completely bad.

For me, the Harry Potter universe is more than Harry's story. It is an entire world filled with people who had their own dreams, problems, secrets, and ambitions.

I write because I want to explore those stories.

Harry had his adventure. I'm interested in everyone who was living theirs at the same time.
