Jean Paul Vizuete

Jean Paul Vizuete was born on October 13, 1994 in Panama City, Panama. His father is Ricardo Vizuete, a college biology professor and salsa music composer, and his mother is Elkilia Santos de Vizuete, a psychologist and former reporter. His younger sister is Melanie Vizuete, who's an aspiring actress and a lawyer student. 

Jean Paul is a born-storyteller. Since a very early age, Jean began writing fantasy and sci-fi stories for personal entertainment. He wrote stories about mythical worlds and super heroes, which would later serve as an inspiration for many of his most recent works. As he grew older, he started showing a very keen interest on movies, and that's when he started adapting many of his stories into screenplays.

Jean is an avid fan of movies, books and anime. His favorite movies include Inception and The Dark Knight by Christopher Nolan, Peter Jackson's adaption of Tolkien's The Return of the King, and George Lucas' The Empire Strikes Back. His favorite books are J. R. R. Tolkien's The Hobbit and Carlos Ruiz Zafon's The Shadow of the Wind. He is known to also be a fan of Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, and Hayao Miyazaki's films (Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, etc.).

In 2012, he started publishing through Wattpad his book "Nightwalker: The Wizard's Key", which was completed almost a year later on October of 2013. Currently, the final draft of the first part of the book is still available on Wattpad, but Jean hasn't released any news regarding a full publication of the book, since he insists that he won't rush a release until he has found a proper editor for it. He is currently writing the second entry in the series: "Palace of the Sages".

Jean moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, on March of 2015, and has being living there since. He is currently studying Film Production at the Universidad del Cine (FUC). He likes visiting his homeland, Panama, every few months.
