I liveeee! If you've been lurking on this somewhat desolate account for the past few years, you'd know a little something about a crossover I came up with.
Two years ago today, I was supposed to be doing French homework. Two years ago today I became distracted and went down a rabbit hole of Carmen Sandiego clips on Youtube. Resulting me in googling her voice actor, trying to see where I knew her from.
To my surprise I did know her, she was the main character in Jane The Virgin. A show I'd also end up watching later. How did I know this show? Asides from the clips of Brett Dier and Jane bawling her eyes out, I recognised it from someone else's 'Movies & Tv'. Diane Guerrero. Diane was cast as Jane's best friend Lina.
It was a joke initially, Gina and Diane cast together, Gina playing a guest appearance in B99 with Stephanie . A crossover seemed perfect, the entire idea was served to me on a silver platter. But I took this silly little idea and ran with it, more so- it grabbed me by the sleeve and tugged me along.
Carbela was a turning point for me, they represent healing- making new connections, becoming a better person. All things good. So while they are near and dear to me because I've been picturing their life together for the past 730.5 days, they're also important to me because they were there during a point where I was finally finding my people, finding more of myself.
I want to thank everyone who's been here since the beginning! The comments, the kudos- the silly doodles that I've seen along the way have meant more than you could possibly ever know.
