Jadacey Teska

I am a writer. I began with songs and moved to poetry and eventually to conceptual novels. I hold myself to high standards, but figured that writing is a passion I don't want to let die. While I have consistently written songs, and have even recorded and published music, I have always felt that writing short stories and novels was a path I wanted to pursue. 

I plan on attending Carthage College for a business major with an emphasis on marketing. I am currently in the running to receive a full ride. This is, in big part, likely due to my college essay portion of my application. I chose to explore the significance of endurance vs. overcoming.

In short, I write out of passion and merely hope it can bring help to my financial situation. I come from a home with younger siblings and a single mom. My mother is divorced, receives little to no money from child support, and is a high school english teacher at a small, rural school. Any and all financial contributions are more than appreciated.
