After much soul-searching I have decided to take a break from Wattpad. Not that anybody will necessarily see this, but for the few people that I have made friends with here: I'm probably not "gone", but rather just gone from Wattpad... At least for now.
May God give you the Faith to understand how very loved you are and the wisdom to know what to do with that knowledge.

I'm a Christian, a fiance, a father (4 wonderful kids) and grandfather (7! Amazing grandkids!).
I'm also a story lover, tale teller, obnoxious editor and generally nice guy.
I grew up with C.S. Lewis & Tolkien, raised my kids with them and JK Rowling, and generally prefer books to movies. We consumed everything from Brooks to Ludlum to Zelazny.
The fan fiction craze consumed my family for a few years - enough that I identify as a Slythindor and Harmonion for what difference that makes.
My years of Macross and Gundam led my kids to show me RWBY and SAO which led me to share Ruroni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop and Akira which led us to discovering Mushishi, Natsume, Yona of the Dawn and the list goes on.
My anime phase pretty much ended when my youngest set their own sails but I still spend the odd evening with my youngest daughter and Crunchyroll.
I prefer solid writing to flowery prose, but flowery prose to flowery poetry. I enjoy thinking through a story, and don't mind mid-book cliffies so long as you tie things up in the end.
Romance doesn't require sex, but sex is not a bad thing so long as it's not the only thing.
Character development > plot development > setting > grammar and all of that is secondary to Consistency.
Oh, and for goodness sake, either get an editor or take constructive criticism and fix your mistakes!
Yes, I put grammar last, but a Creative Mind doesn't always = technical capability, let alone interest... besides, that's why God made Editors! (And Grammarly).
