@Allysk01 I know Josette. :) I see her sometimes at the Eastern Panhandle WriMos events. :) I'm more of a content development editor.. not so good with copy editing/line edits. Thanks again for sharing your story. I did enjoy it and helping.

@Allysk01 no problem at all. It was useful feedback and gave me plenty to consider. Truthfully, this story is so unpolished that it may take several revisions before it is ready for publication. Fortunately, my friend Josette is going to be my editor when I am ready, so I'm sure that my final project will be everything that I want it to be when I'm done. Thanks again for the feedback.
