Bumalik ang kaba sa aking dibdib at hindi makagalaw ang aking katawan dahil sa takot na nararamdaman.
Nakakulong ako sa katubigan, wala na akong maatrasan o mapupuntahan. Nanginginig at ang luha ay naramdaman ko na.
Pakiramdam ko...nawawalan na naman ako ng laya!
Patuloy na kumakabog ang aking dibdib at kinilabotan. Tanging takot ang nangingibabaw sa kakaibang sensasyong aking nabungaran.
“Ito ba...” nangilid ang luha sa mga mata ko at mapait na napangiti. “Ito ba ang kalayaan, o isang malupit na kapalaran?”
