Hey Everybody!

I'm Em, and I am just a girl with a passion for music and the written word. I'm both a fantasy fiction author and a singer, currently putting myself through University as a Jazz Music major and working on the third draft of my first novel. 

I love learning new things about myself as a writer, and every day I discover more about myself and the world around me; a world so foreign to my eyes I can hardly believe the sights are real. University has brought me on a journey ablaze with fear and helplessness, yet has helped me to understand myself as more than just an object, but as a person. Not only am I a woman, but an artist. 

The words I live by are, "I go to seek a Great Perhaps..." a quote from the author of my favourite book, Looking for Alaska by John Green. Because the world is full of grander maybes, and the Great Perhaps exists within your grasp, should you only reach out for it.
