@wh4twh0wh3n i agreee. for me it’s when the ml/mc doesn’t even know his gf’s a bad person but we readers do. So like there’s ZERO reason for him to cheat. (not that there’s ever really a good reason to cheat, js breakup bruh) but yeah, two wrongs don’t make a right. It just means they’re both trash in different ways LMAO.

@Im_L1aa well the reasoning is that the girlfriend helps with keeping up the straight facade, but reasonings aren't excuses so yeah it's still very wrong. the thing is the writer usually make the girlfriend an asshole so that it'll be easier for readers to be like "oh well she's a bitch anyway" like no it's still wrong to cheat regardless lmao the girlfriend being an asshole doesn't cancel out the fact that the boyfriend is an asshole too for cheating

@wh4twh0wh3n EXACTLY GOSH. Ik this happens in every type of books but since i read a lot of bls, ima talk about bls. It starts off with the ml having a girlfriend, then when he meets the mc he has a gay crisis and then cheats on her. Instead of considering the girl’s feelings, everyone in the comment is acting like she’s annoying and her feelings get dismissed. I’m tired of seeing the ml’s gf made as villains like why can’t they breakup on good terms? ugh im ranting but i js can’t read books with cheating cuz if u really loved them why would u cheat. I’ve dropped good books cuz the cheating is never talked about

@Yassi11111 wait omg ur right,why dont they do this.. like if you know you wanna make books, pre-write them so you wont be stressed + ur readers wont have to wait like hello its a win win. Its pisses me off when i see a book with the perfect description and tags and theres like 10 chapters in 2 months and OMG its even worse when they have other books that they're updating regularly but not the one im reading ☹️☹️

They should pre-write their books so all they have to do is post updates at scheduled times  I read one where there were only three updates in March—spaced weeks apart—then nothing until June, and now they’ve just stopped updating again with no warning or explanation.
