Icky Spriggins

I'm a sock what's a bit of a git. I've got a degree in Archaeology and half a Masters in Theatre Design. I illustrate, cook, prevaricate about the bush and wander aimlessly in search of petty cash to sustain my writing habit.

My main works are my Absurd-Fantasy Series currently with the Revolting Rose and its prequel, Revolting Relations. The books are generally about to daft characters causing havoc in a world of live vegetables, mushrooms, overlords and woolly Nonsense.

Currently working on Masque; an Ottoman-inspired Masque of the Red Death retelling meets Abu Nuwas' queer poetry and with a bit of comedy mixed in because I can't help myself.

The Life and Times of Poodlepuff is a side thing that I'd like to eventually rewrite with some kind of illustrations about a tiny pastry chef named Poodlepuff and his accordion playing Yeti companion.
