I just finished reading Ruqaya and all I can say is WOW! I was born and brought up in the North East of Nigeria and being queer this book really hits close to home. I went through a roller coaster of emotions, it felt so real because if I mess up this could be my life. You are a great writer I must say. Sending you roses

hello!!! just added your story to my reading list :) if you’re interested in queer stories, romance, realistic fiction, or relatable stories with a black female protagonist as well accurate daddy/mommy issues representation i’d be more than happy to do a genuine readforread. i’ll even leave a review on your board and in your comments. just let me know :)))
My apologies for sliding into your conversations board uninvited.
But I think you'd be interested in this queer Nigerian coming-of-age novel: https://www.wattpad.com/story/345490297
