It’s been like 2 years since I last posted, which means most of you have probably forgotten who I am. Honestly, fair. I ghosted y'all. But surprise—I’m back! And instead of just lurking, I’m actually posting something.
WHY?
I’ve been working on my book, for those of you who had stuck around would know as "The Conjurer's Charm", but boy it ain't the Conjurer's charm anymore. It's still the same story but I have made 'drastic' changes and alterations to the story that what felt like a middle-grade Percy Jackson-Harry Potter-esque story has evolved into something like... Game of Thrones!
Yep, I'm in that territory, and I have spent my last two years worldbuilding and plotting instead of actually writing lmao, until a few months back. And I figured, why not throw the first few chapters on here as a kind of early beta read? If people like it, I’ll keep posting as I write. If not… well, I’ll just pretend this never happened. Because, I definitely do remember feedback is what initially helped me develop this story in the very beginning, while it was still learning to stand.
If some of y'all knew my Instagram, you'd know what the new title of my book is now. But for those of you who don't, well let's have that as a surprise for tomorrow!
Besides that, not that anyone cares but my life updates are: worked at a marketing agency long enough that I'm quitting this month, and I'm in my second year of my Psych degree.
So, if you’re into fantasy, specifically a book like if Game of Thrones and Arcane had a child, let me know if you’d read it! And if you do, drop a comment or some feedback—because I’m definitely editing as I go.
I will publish the book and the first few chapters tomorrow, in a new book, if I get some responses back, or even if not, that's fair.
No pressure. No dramatic “I HAVE RETURNED” energy. Just me, a book-in-progress, and the questionable decision to share my drafts with the internet. Let’s see how this goes.
