To all those judging the protests,

Most instances of violence have been incited by the police & other non-Black people who have pretended to be there for protests and have instead taken the opportunity to loot or harm protestors. However, even if we ARE also seeing riots from protestors, it is a DIRECT result of relentless abuse & anti-blackness. Police brutality is a direct result of white supremacy. Just like the disproportionate, mass incarceration of Black ppl is a form of modern slavery, there is evidence of the police being used to target Black ppl since inception. Before the police, the KKK would gather in mobs, going around terrorizing Black ppl with out being checked... just like cops.

Save your "not all cops" rethoric, because belonging to a corrupt system makes you complicit. These riots are for George Floyd, may he rest in power. Yet, they are also for the millions of Black people who have suffered before him at the hands of a system created with the purpose of oppressing & murdering Black people.

& to those of you saying it's being taken "too far"... what IS the right way to protest? Kneeling was detested. Award shows activism speeches have been as well. In fact, up until now, every single form of non-violent protesting has been met with backlash. So, why don't you say what you really mean? You don't care about the suffering of Black ppl. You simply wish for them to shut up & internalize their pain/suffering because it makes YOU uncomfortable. You value property over Black lives.

To quote MLK, the pacifist y'all love to exploit to silence protestors, "A riot is the language of the unheard. And what is it America has failed to hear? ... It has failed to hear that the promises of freedom and justice have not been met. And it has failed to hear that large segments of white society are more concerned about tranquility & the status quo than about justice and humanity.”

@HecDaevis This message applies not only to America but every other country whose natives have been killed and their land taken over by the white people. Hopefully, there are many international coloured readers here who will understand what i wish to convey. It's not just african Americans or africans. It's asians, indians, people who originally lived in Australia before the white criminals were sent there. Thanks for this message, Hec. I have always loved reading your books and this message is truly inspiring.

Hi Hec
I enjoy your writing. Are your other books available on any other forum? This is my 2nd round of reading the office love and I remember starting gym love but never found record love. I look forward to it. Thank you

#BlackLivesMatter #NoJusticeNoPeace The fact that the police officers who are supposed to keep the peace are the ones most likely to partake in murder and rampant anti-blackness is absolutely disgraceful. However, we all know this is not new. The only reason it's become more known is because we can now record and gather evidence more efficiently than ever before. Police brutality and corruption is a recurring issue and we need to do more to stop it; remember that riots and rebellions are a direct result of centuries of a corrupt govt. not doing its job. So many Black people have been brutally murdered, so please understand that the outrage is more than just about restlessness and it serves a purpose. Rest in Power George Floyd and my heart goes out to all the incredibly brave people protesting and fighting for racial equality. Everyone, I urge you to do your part too and find out how you can help. Please join me in trying to make a difference. There are so many ways to help, whether it be signing petitions, protesting, donating, and raising awareness, etc.

What happened to Gym love? That was still one of my favorites, as it was hysterical and a lead into Eric story
