Since the time I completed my first novel in high-school at the ripe age of seventeen, I have always wanted to use my writing as an instrument to bring hope to others by partnering with selected charities, or simply bridging the gap between faraway fiction and every-day experiences. My second novel, Centaurus, was published nation-wide and contributed to a veterans program in Los Angeles, CA, while my third novel Closer Than We Know was later used as a learning tool in various schools throughout the country to raise awareness on bullying. In 2014, I was published nationwide in Chicken Soup for the Soul for their Find Your Inner Strength series, and in 2018, I was featured on KTLA's Spoken Dreams segment for my writing. With fans I have garnered over the years and resources I have throughout the competitive showjumping circuit, I have the networks to promote "Extraordinary Strides" and finally share my story of a frail kid turned fugitive, the incredible measures taken to protect a four-legged friend, and what I learned about forgiveness, redemption, and never giving up.
