There are two fan fiction stories that I still think about to this day, despite first reading them at like 12/13, Some Scars Heal by Sunnysunshine and My Brother's Best Friend by Stylescloud. Stylescloud actually published her story on paperback, but unfortunately, after years and years of searching for Some Scars Can Heal- I've come to the disappointing discovery that it no longer exists anywhere. The author's account is even down. I'm utterly heartbroken with this news. That story meant a lot to me, as it was not only one of the first ever fan fictions I read but it also made me fall in love with reading. That story completely changed my life and I'm so so sad that I won't be able to read it again. That story is the one I think about the most besides Bad Habit, which also changed my life. Those 3 stories absolutely shaped me and made me love literature. Troubled by x17black is right up there with my all time favorite reads and I was heartbroken to find out that story is also gone. I feel as though that even if the author doesn't love the story anymore or is embarrassed of their piece, they should still leave it out there for those who do enjoy it and for those whose lives they changed. I have yet to read a book/story that has changed me in the ways that those stories have. Definitely only like maybe one that I still think about but don't remember too many details from, but they've all come from this app.
