Hello, I'm Rachel Faucette Buck. You probably know me as Alexander Hamilton's mother, but I'm much more than that.

I was forced to marry Johann Michael Lavien in 1745. We had a son together. But Johann was abusive to me, and had me thrown in jail for "not being good enough".

When I got out of jail, I ran away. That was when I met the love of my life, James Hamilton. We had two amazing sons; James Jr and Alexander.

However, James had to leave the children and I. A few years later, Alex and I caught yellow fever. Only my son survived.
