@hjpsfavwife Those are some very good questions!!
1. Ron, most definitely. You can't tell me he hasn't done it at least once. Especially when he was trying out for the Quidditch team in his fifth year. He'd probably stay up stressing out over it and then go get a Chocolate Frog to ease his anxiety. Y/N also would do it, but she wouldn't get caught. She'd shift into a cat to sneak around.
2. If it's one of my original characters who had to do it, I'd say Leonora. It would be something to do with wandless magic since 99% of modern wizards can't do it. HBP Leonora would do it but DH and post-War Leo wouldn't start a cult.
3. Tough one. I'd say Leonora again. "Fun" is perhaps not the right term, but definitely very interesting and I had to take a lot of time to plan her storyline. So, in that aspect, fun!
4. There are sooo many of them, but I'd say when Y/N jinxed Snape's hair to be extremely oil after he bullied Hermione in GOF. "I see no difference." He deserved that so much and I wish a character in the books had done it to him. Give him a taste of his own medicine.
5. My love for the HP universe and Harry himself. Also, a few HJP fanfics inspired me to write my own (shoutout to TBWL, Ephemeral and YMCO), and my HP DR (shifting iykyk). As for narrative consistency, I kept a note document with all the major plot lines of my fic to make sure it all made sense and connected. It took a lot of time to nail a few scenes. I referred back to the books a lot to make sure the characters and their personalities were accurate. I did tweak a few things but overall kept them the same. There are, obviously, some inconsistencies in my story and maybe plot holes. I'll have to revise it one day and fine-tune it.
6. After Dark by Mr. Kitty, hence the title. But choosing one song is difficult... So I'll add Space Song by Beach House, Miss Missing You by Fall Out Boy, Far Too Young to Die by Panic! at the Disco and Somewhere Only We Know by Keane.
